Welcome to Overnewton Castle a Scottish baronial style homestead built-in 1849. Situated in Keilor Village, 20 mins drive from Melbourne CBD. Built by William Taylor in 1849 a prominent early settler to the area. During the 1850’s Keilor became an important and busy stopover for travellers on their way to the Victorian Goldfields.

Enjoy the ultimate in old world grace and charm with light high tea in the Grand Ballroom or Sherry Room, starting with a fascinating tour of the ground floor, led by our knowledgeable staff.

Enjoy a selection of delicate pastries, fluffy scones, jam and cream, traditional English tea sandwiches and petite fours, a glass of sparkling upon arrival followed by free-flowing traditional Twining’s tea and Vittoria coffee.

Vouchers are valid for 3 years after the date of purchase, please note, once a date has been selected, no-shows will forfeit their booking. Once a date has been selected, changes can only be accomodated 48 hours before the event - a transfer fee is applicable. Please notify us at booking of any dietary requirements.
